5 Healthy Ways For Women to Have a Fantastic Day

Most women have become a slave to their daytime routine. It’s easy to fall into this trap. With all of the duties you have to perform on a daily basis, time seems to fly by with no real purpose. You continue to do the same thing day in and day out. Don’t get in a rut where all you do is glide through life.

Realize this mundane routine for what it really is… an opportunity. No gals that does not mean it’s time for a shopping spree. It simply means to make changes in your daily routine. These changes do not have to be earth shattering. It can be as simple as doing the grocery shopping at a different supermarket, getting gas at a different station, or even talking on the phone to an old friend who has been out of touch. The following are some good ideas to help you get into a new groove.

1. Release the Stress 
Yes, we all know that’s not so easy to do. Here’s something to try and see if it works for you. Take 30 minutes out of your day and do something you really enjoy. Take a hot bubble bath, read your favorite poetry, listen to your favorite music, take a power nap, or get a quick shoulder massage during your lunch break. You’ll find that taking time to pamper yourself is very rewarding and a great stress reliever. And finally, if you know certain individuals who are always difficult, just avoid them whenever possible. Why stress yourself out? If you do have an encounter with someone and you’re about to explode, just thinking about the most beautiful place you have ever been will redirect your rage.

2. Put a Little Motion in Your Day
Try and get in 15 minutes of light exercise each day. Walk around the block, take the stairs, play with your children, or walk the dog in the park. If you’re feeling rambunctious, consider doing some old fashioned jumping jacks to start your morning. When you release the endorphins stress melts away. Of course, this does not take the place of a full workout, but it’s a great alternative on the days you can’t make it to the gym. Why not start this light exercise routine tomorrow?

3. Watch Your Fat Intake
This is something we can all do. There is no reason to eat fried or greasy foods like burgers and pizza. The fats and sugars in these foods have a direct affect on how you feel. This is simple to avoid. But, maybe you’ve had a long day, you’re stressed out and too tired to cook, or maybe the kids just have to go to that fast food restaurant. 5. Change Your Morning Routine
This is as simple as it gets and the rewards are awesome. How boring is the same routine every morning? Think about this for a moment. Every morning you probably do the exact same thing, at the exact same time and don’t even realize it… like a robot. Some people call it a schedule. It should be called maddening. Tomorrow when you wake up, do everything in reverse. This is going to add some excitement to your morning. For example, when you are used to getting out of the shower at a certain time, you’ll find it is now a half hour earlier or later than usual. All of a sudden the morning begins to look a little different. This might make you feel a little out of sorts, but it’s an exhilarating feeling and it sets a different tone for the entire day.

    Thanks Joycelyn. That free ebook is great! We use it all the time when we go to lunch. I know some people may not like to give out their email address to get the free ebook, but we have never been spammed by that company. I think they just want everyone to eat healthy. It’s written by a doctor.
